Although in-patient drug and alcohol rehab is regarded as the most effective form of treatment, particularly in the early stages, it is understandable that due to work or personal commitments, many people are unable to commit to a full residential programme over a period of weeks.
A number of our clinics offer dedicated out-patient treatment programmes designed to conveniently fit around the individual's personal circumstances, enabling them to continue with their daily living whilst still engaging in an intensive primary treatment plan. However, in order to gain optimum benefits from this type of programme it is wise to try and commit to at least one week of in-patient rehab before commencing the out-patient programme.
First4Rehab also works with a number of dedicated one-to-one therapists for those who are seeking an individual counselling programme. Again, if you are unable to commit to a residential addiction programme, or are looking for further counselling once you have completed primary care, we can assist in finding you a suitable therapist to meet your personal needs. Individual counselling can identify and address a number of issues including:
- Addiction - drugs, alcohol, eating disorders, gambling, relationships/co-dependency.
- Depression and other mental illnesses.
- Personal trauma - family or work related stress, bereavement, previous traumatic experiences.
